If you look around you will find 9 out of 10 people who are depressed and are not well when it comes to their health . Some are suffering from sugar and some are suffering from blood pressure,  there is so much of stress around us and we need to think about it as soon as possible !

You know the solution buddy but you are surrounded by so many myths that you just don't want to start . Starting diet doesn't mean you have to leave your home made food and eat a fancy stuff that you have seen on Instagram account of so many fitness influencers but what if i tell you that you can have a great physique or better physical and mental health just by eating your daily generic home made food . Just go for some healthy and well balanced meals throughout the day.

Diet doesn't mean you have to eat only vegetables. It means a proper well balanced meals for your whole day to complete your macro-nutrients requirements and micro-nutrients requirements . Macro-nutrients includes- fats , carbs and proteins where as Micro-nutrients included various vitamins and minerals .

For example - chapati have carbs
 eggs have protein
Nuts have fats
Vegetables have various vitamins and minerals.

So don't go for fancy food learn about calories and find your maintenance calories and eat according to your goals .

What is a calorie ?


A calorie is unit that is use to measure energy . Carbohydrates and proteins have
1 gram = 4 calories .
Fats have 1 gram = 9 calories .
Alcohol have 1 gram = 7 calories .

What is Maintenance Calories?

Maintenance calories also known as TDEE which means total daily energy expenditure.  Our body requires energy to perform basic functions like walking, eating etc and that energy is called maintenance calories .

Case 1 - weight gain

In case you want to gain weight then you need to eat more than your maintenance calories.  For example my maintenance calories is 2500kal in order to gain weight i need to eat more than 2500kal.

In case you want to loose weight then you need to eat less than your maintenance calories . For example my maintenance calories is 2500kal in order to lose weight i need to eat less than 2500kal.

How to calculate calories for your diet ?

There are various apps that you can download to know your macros .
1) my fitness pal
2) healthyfyme

All you need to do is enter the food that your eating or that your are going to eat then enter the amount or quantity of food and you are good to go to know about your macros .
